Tim Atkin awards an outstanding 98 points to Don Melchor 2021

Viña Don Melchor celebrates its 35th harvest this year, Don Melchor 2021. A wine awarded an exceptional 98 points by British wine critic and Master of Wine Tim Atkin.

Prestigious UK wine critic and Master of Wine Tim Atkin recently announced his ratings for his upcoming report on Chilean wines. He awarded 98 points to Puente Alto’s iconic Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 vintage. 

This year, Viña Don Melchor celebrates its 35th anniversary with the launch of an extraordinary new vintage: Don Melchor 2021, composed of 93% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Cabernet Franc and 3% Merlot, a wine expressing the perfect blend of energy and finesse, and faithfully reflecting Puente Alto’s terroir, an appellation that has been widely acclaimed and recognized as the cradle of the world’s best Cabernet Sauvignon.   

This new achievement in the history of Viña Don Melchor reflects and solidifies the detailed work and excellence behind the production of a world-class wine from one of the most renowned appellations for high-end Cabernet Sauvignon.
