Enrique Tirado leads exclusive masterclass in Brazil

4 de June, 2026
As part of the launch of its new vintages in the Brazilian market, the CEO and Technical Director of Viña Don Melchor, Enrique Tirado, led an exclusive masterclass held at Hotel Fasano Itaim in São Paulo, attended by 16 leading media outlets and specialised wine journalists from the Brazilian market.

The event became a valuable opportunity to share in depth the vision, history and philosophy behind Don Melchor, while further strengthening relationships with influential members of the press and key opinion leaders in one of Viña Don Melchor’s most important markets.

The tasting focused on presenting the 2023 vintage of Don Melchor Vintage 2023, alongside DM/01 Vintage 2022, the first wine from the new limited-edition “The Parcel” Series.

During the masterclass, Enrique Tirado explored the extraordinary terroir of Puente Alto, a unique Andean origin located at the foothills of the Andes Mountains and globally recognised for producing some of the world’s finest Cabernet Sauvignon wines. He also highlighted the Sundial Vineyard project, launched in 2018 as an innovative initiative aimed at preserving this exceptional terroir for future generations through research and experimentation focused on identifying the best vine orientation and planting density.

The masterclass also provided an opportunity to share Viña Don Melchor’s winemaking vision and the meticulous precision behind both wines, reflecting the winery’s ongoing pursuit of excellence, innovation and authenticity.

This activity forms part of Enrique Tirado’s agenda in Brazil throughout the week, which includes meetings and experiences alongside clients, strategic partners and industry leaders in different cities across the country.
