Viña Don Melchor showed an outstanding performance in the latest edition of Great Wines of the World—one of the most important wine tasting events on an international scale—and which took place in New York on June 2 and 3.

More than 200 wines were presented over two days of tastings—all handpicked by Suckling from the best producers in the key wine regions around the world. Viña Don Melchor winemaker and technical director Enrique Tirado presented the 2014 and 2019 vintages of this Puente Alto icon, each of which were recognized with 98 points from the US critic.
