The Don Melchor team concluded a great participation in the 43rd edition of the New York Wine Experience, organized by the prestigious U.S. wine magazine, Wine Spectator.

As is tradition, this event, held in October, brings together media, buyers, distributors, and wine enthusiasts in New York to taste a selection of the top 260 wine labels, chosen exclusively by Wine Spectator. 

On this occasion, Viña Don Melchor presented the 2021 vintage of its iconic Cabernet Sauvignon from Puente Alto, which celebrates the 35th anniversary of its first vintage. This wine was presented personally by its winemaker and CEO, Enrique Tirado, alongside the Vice President of Fine Wines, Isabel Guilisasti. 

It is worth noting that the 2021 vintage of Don Melchor received 96 points from Wine Spectator, making it the only wine from Chile to achieve this score five times—the highest awarded to a Chilean wine by the magazine.
