New accolade for Don Melchor 2018

A new and outstanding score received the 2018 harvest from Spanish critic Luis Gutiérrez, who is in charge of sampling Chilean wines for Robert Parker.

The successful 2018 vintage of Don Melchor continues to rack up recognition from some of the most important specialized critics around the world.

In his latest report on Chile, published on August 31st, the Spanish critic Luis Gutiérrez, who is in charge of sampling Chilean wines for Robert Parker, awarded Don Melchor 95 points and ranked it among the top spots for the variety.

“It has power and finesse, integrated 14% alcohol and a classical profile with the ingredients to develop nicely in bottle. It’s tasty and has polished tannins”, said Luis Gutiérrez.

This new accolade for the 2018 vintage is added to the historic 100 points granted by U.S. critic James Suckling and confirm Don Melchor as one of the most prized Cabernet Sauvignons in the world.
