Enrique Tirado´s successful visit to Florida

Winemaker Enrique Tirado visited the state of Florida – United States – to lead a series of activities with industry representatives, consumers, key clients and specialized media, introducing Don Melchor, one of the best Cabernet Sauvignon in the world.

Enrique Tirado, the Technical Director and CEO of Viña Don Melchor, attended commercial lunches, consumer activities, meetings with key customers, and specialized media events in mid-November. The aim was to enhance Don Melchor’s presence in one of its key markets.

Influential buyers from the area gathered at Quinto, a South American restaurant in Miami, for a lunch meeting. Meanwhile, at D’Cata Wine Club and Hideaway Beach, consumers enjoyed a Don Melchor Wine Dinner led by Enrique Tirado. The event concluded with a special sale of this iconic Cabernet Sauvignon from Puente Alto.

Don Melchor’s winemaker invited the leading specialized media in South Florida to lunch at the renowned Amara at Paraiso restaurant, owned by chef Michael Schwartz. During the lunch, Enrique Tirado offered a tasting of the 2020 vintage of Don Melchor, a preview of the 2021 vintage, and an exclusive tasting of the 2012 vintage. It’s worth mentioning that the 2012 vintage is part of Don Melchor’s collection of 35 vintages.

Among those attending this event are Sarah Philips of Wine Guide Miami, Jacqueline Coleman of Biscayne Times, Complot Magazine founders Pedro Maal and Leonardo Davalos and Sara Liss who writes for Time Out, Conde Nast Traveler and The Boca Raton Observer.

Present at the event were Henrique Castillo, Beverage Director of Michelin-starred L’Atelier and Jardinier, Higor Valle, Beverage Manager at Fisher Island Club, and Rebecca Hodges from the Florida Wine Academy.

Don Melchor had a successful week in Florida, without a doubt.
