Critic James Suckling, one of the most influential figures in the wine world, ranked Don Melchor first on his list of Chile’s best wines for 2020. This new distinction is added to other outstanding accolades this medium has awarded the 2018 vintage.

The influential US wine critic James Suckling recognized the 2018 Don Melchor with first place in his ranking of the Top 100 Wines of Chile. In the report, he refers to the 2018 Don Melchor as being “all about youth, depth and energy that unveils the beautiful poise of a top Chilean cabernet sauvignon with its dense but superbly polished tannin and tension, knitting up a full but linear and seamless mouthfeel.”

brThis recognition is added to the extraordinary 100 points that Suckling awarded the 2018 vintage of Don Melchor in March 2020 and the 12th position on his list of the Top 100 Wines of the World published in November 2020.
