Consistent harvest for Don Melchor

Consistent harvest for Don Melchor

The harvest of this award-winning, world-renowned wine has begun with the best conditions in the vineyard of Puente Alto.

The grape harvest for Don Melchor brand has commenced on time and in the best conditions in the exclusive terroir of Puente Alto, in the Alto Maipo valley.

The weather has been cooler than in previous years, which has been a positive factor in contributing to a well-balanced harvest with very expressive and fruity grapes.

“It is going to be a great vintage. We’ve detected great balance and vivacity in the vineyard with the grapes ripening at the right time. In addition, the fruit is expressing itself well, with flavorsome textures and finesse. I think it will be a fine wine.” said Technical Director, Enrique Tirado.

The Don Melchor vineyard, D.O. in Puente Alto, is located at the foot of the Andes mountain range, on the north bank of the Maipo River. This is one of the world’s best terroirs, breathing life into this award-winning, high-end Cabernet Sauvignon that has positioned itself as one of the best wines globally.
