Don Melchor, the iconic Cabernet Sauvignon from Puente Alto, launched its new 2021 vintage in Chile during an exclusive dinner attended by major media outlets. 

This event, part of the global roadshow “Don Melchor Celebrates Its 35th Vintage,” was held at the award-winning Boragó restaurant, run by Chilean chef Rodolfo Guzmán, which is ranked among the 29 best restaurants in the world according to The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2024 list. 

Enrique Tirado, CEO and Technical Director, commented: “We had an incredible experience tasting iconic vintages of Don Melchor alongside prominent Chilean media and publications to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Don Melchor’s harvest. This new vintage, composed of 93% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Merlot, embodies the perfect balance of energy and elegance, reflecting its origins in the renowned and award-winning Puente Alto appellation.”

The Don Melchor 2021, which has already received significant accolades from the specialized press, is now available in the country’s top wine retailers.
