Viña Don Melchor takes part in James Suckling Great Wines of the World Asia

12 de November, 2025
The iconic Cabernet Sauvignon from Puente Alto was present at the 2025 edition of the prestigious wine fair organized by renowned U.S. wine critic James Suckling.

From October 29 to November 5, a new edition of Great Wines of the World Asia took place, touring four major cities in the region — Seoul, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Bangkok — and bringing together distinguished wine enthusiasts and professionals from around the world.

On this occasion, Isabel Guilisasti, Vice President of Fine Wines and Corporate Image at Viña Concha y Toro, traveled to Asia to present, alongside the local team, the 2021 and 2022 vintages of Don Melchor — both awarded with 99 points by the publication. Throughout each event, she highlighted the exceptional qualities that have established this Cabernet Sauvignon as a world-class benchmark and an icon of the Puente Alto Appellation in Chile.

Bringing together some of the greatest exponents of global winemaking, this edition strengthened Don Melchor’s connection with Asian consumers and reinforced its position as a regional benchmark in high-end wines.
