Between December 11 and 12, a new edition of this important event for the national wine industry was held in the gardens of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. The fair brought together 70 Chilean wineries and welcomed a total of 1,079 wine enthusiasts and aficionados, who enjoyed tasting outstanding labels alongside a high-end gastronomic offering.

On this occasion, Viña Don Melchor participated with the new vintage of its iconic Puente Alto Cabernet Sauvignon, Don Melchor 2023, which has not yet been released to the market. This wine was awarded 98 points by the recently published Descorchados Guide 2026 and was included among the guide’s “Top 10 Red Wines.” In addition, it was ranked “Best Cabernet Sauvignon” for the tenth time ranking, and for the fourth time “Best Maipo Andes”.

Attendees also had the opportunity to discover and taste one of the great surprises of the portfolio: DM/01 vintage 2022, the first wine in the limited-edition “The Parcel” series. This wine received 96 points and was named “Revelation Wine” in the guide, establishing itself as an attractive and innovative enological proposal.
Also, Enrique Tirado, CEO and Technical Director of Viña Don Melchor, took part in this new edition of the fair, engaging with attendees and personally presenting the unique character and excellence of the winery’s portfolios, sourced from the exceptional Puente Alto appellation.

This edition, which brought together the leading figures of the Chilean wine industry, helped strengthen the connection with consumers and reaffirm the excellence, consistency, and positioning of Viña Don Melchor as one of the great references of Chilean wine at a national level.
