Don Melchor's 2020 vintage was a featured wine at Great Wines of the World in New York, unveiling James Suckling's selection of the world's best wines.

Ranked by James Suckling with an extraordinary 97 points, Don Melchor 2020 was among several wines from important wine regions around the world presented to more than 2,000 wine lovers who participated in tasting rounds on June 15 and 16 at The Altman Building.

As one of the world’s most important wine-tasting events, Great Wines of the World is a unique opportunity for wine lovers worldwide to taste top-scoring wines currently produced. Most wines scored between 95 and 98 points, and many made JamesSuckling.com’s list of the 100 Best Wines of 2022.

Don Melchor ranks among the best wines worldwide by participating in this critical event, ratifying the Puente Alto D.O once again as one of the world’s most prestigious terroirs for producing world-class Cabernet Sauvignon.
