The iconic Cabernet Sauvignon from Puente Alto showcased its 2022 vintage at the 2026 edition of the prestigious “Great Wines of the World” fair, organized in the United States by the renowned American critic James Suckling.

From March 2 to 6, the Great Wines of the World USA fair, organized by wine critic James Suckling, took place, held across three cities —New York, Miami, and San Francisco— and attracting a total of 12,500 distinguished wine enthusiasts and professionals.

On this occasion, Viña Don Melchor showcased its 2022 vintage, which was awarded an extraordinary 99 points by James Suckling, and ranked No. 5 in the “Top 100 Wines of Chile 2024” and No. 53 in the “Top 100 Wines of the Year 2024”.

Throughout the event, Don Melchor attracted significant attention, with attendees visiting the stand to taste the new vintage and learn about the exceptional qualities that establish this Cabernet Sauvignon as a world-class benchmark and an icon among Cabernet Sauvignon.

This edition, which brought together some of the greatest figures in global winemaking, once again strengthened the connection with the U.S. consumer and reaffirmed Don Melchor’s positioning in the North American market.
