Wine educator and writer Fumiko Aoki visited the Don Melchor Casona in Puente Alto to learn about and taste the most recent vintages.

During her visit to Chile, the Japanese wine writer and educator Fumiko Aoki visited our facility in Puente Alto with the objective of deepening her knowledge of our brand and tasting the most recent vintages of Don Melchor.

The 2020 and 2021 vintages were presented during the tasting led by winemaker Sergio Hormazábal and provided the writer the opportunity to learn more about the origin of this magnificent terroir, which will undoubtedly be very useful for her blog Non Solo Vino.

Fumiko’s last visit to the winery was in 2017, so it was very positive to be able to show her all the work that has been done during this period in order to obtain the best expression of the Puente Alto terroir in every vintage.
