Don Melchor at the Nantucket Wine & Food Festival

Isabel Guilisasti, Vice President of Concha y Toro Fine Wines and Corporate Image, presented Don Melchor at the latest edition of the gastronomic festival in Nantucket.

Distinguished among the most important women in the world of wine and gastronomy worldwide, Isabel Guilisasti participated in the Dames Déjeuner, an interactive luncheon that celebrated the leadership and motivation of these women who have inspired so many others. On the occasion, Isabel made reference to her grandmother, who instilled in her a love for nature, and to Philippine Rothschild for her love of good wine.

Isabel also took part in a lunch organized by Wines of Chile with five of the country’s top wine producers. The 2020 Don Melchor was one of the great representatives of Chilean wine, which has brought the country much recognition for the production of world-class wines with unique personality defined by their place of origin.

Don Melchor’s participation in this important wine gala in the United States once again demonstrates the prestige this Cabernet Sauvignon from the Puente Alto terroir has achieved as well as its historical role as one of Chile’s great ambassadors around the world.

The Nantucket Wine & Food Festival—which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year—is one of the most famous food and wine events in the United States. Held each year in late spring, it marks the beginning of the new summer season with the opening of restaurants and galleries and the inauguration of activities and tourism on the island.
