On September 5, Casa Don Melchor will open the doors of its historic estate for a new collaboration, this time welcoming OSSO, the renowned restaurant founded by Peruvian chef Renzo Garibaldi. The lunch will mark OSSO’s first official presentation in Chile, as part of its arrival in the country and in anticipation of the opening of its new restaurant in Santiago.

The experience will bring together a gastronomic proposal specially designed by Renzo Garibaldi and his team, paired with an exceptional selection of wines from Viña Don Melchor, celebrating origin, craftsmanship, and excellence.
Recognized as one of Latin America’s leading culinary references, OSSO is ranked No. 44 in Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants 2025 and has brought its philosophy, rooted in respect for ingredients, fire-centered cooking, and culinary mastery, to the international stage.
“We are delighted that OSSO’s first official presentation in Chile will take place at Casa Don Melchor, a place that embodies history, tradition, and the legacy of one of Chile’s great wine icons. It is an honor for us to share our cuisine and collaborate with Don Melchor in an experience that brings together two worlds united by a constant pursuit of excellence and a deep respect for craftsmanship,” said Renzo Garibaldi, Founder and Chef of OSSO.

This new gathering brings together two expressions of Latin American excellence. On one side is Renzo Garibaldi’s culinary vision, built upon respect for ingredients, craftsmanship, and the culture of fire. On the other is Don Melchor, Chile’s iconic wine, crafted in Puente Alto at the foothills of the Andes Mountains, an exceptional Andean origin for world-class Cabernet Sauvignon that has given rise to one of the most celebrated wines in the world, recognized as Wine Spectator’s No. 1 Wine of the Year.

“At Casa Don Melchor, we seek to create experiences that celebrate origin and excellence in the art of winemaking. Welcoming OSSO to Chile allows us to continue fostering encounters defined by creativity and authenticity, showcasing the richness of Andean viticulture and gastronomy through proposals deeply connected to their place of origin,” commented Enrique Tirado, CEO and Technical Director of Viña Don Melchor.
