The renowned wine journalist Sophie Liu, one of the most influential in China, visited the Don Melchor Casona in Puente Alto.

As part of her visit to Chile for the launch her new book “108 Innovative Warriors,” which includes Don Melchor, Sophie Liu came to Chile and visited Don Melchor to see the Casona (manor house) and participate in a tasting of Don Melchor.

The tasting included a presentation of the 2020 and 2021 vintages, led by Viña Don Melchor Technical Director Enrique Tirado with Isabel Guillisasti, Vice President of Fine Wines and Corporate Image as well as other executives from Viña Concha y Toro.

Sophie Liu is one of China’s most important journalists and the author of four books, including two in which Don Melchor participated: Grandes Vinos de Chile: Legend of Top 18, in which she presents the vast tradition, development, and modern times of the Chilean wine industry through the most outstanding 18 international brands as well as her most recent publication, “108 Innovative Warriors.”
