The iconic Cabernet Sauvignon from Puente Alto, Don Melchor, took part in the latest edition of Sip of South America event, organized by the specialized media outlet Wine Enthusiast in collaboration with Wines Of Chile.

On May 12, a new edition of the Sip of South America wine event took place in New York City (U.S.), aiming to showcase and promote more than 150 South American wine labels in the american market.

On this occasion, Don Melchor presented its 2022 vintage — awarded 95 points by Jessica Vargas, wine journalist responsible for tasting South American wines for Wine Enthusiast — drawing strong attendance, with many guests visiting our stand to taste the iconic Cabernet Sauvignon from Puente Alto.

The event, which featured nearly 50 leading South American wineries, provided an opportunity to position Don Melchor among clients and consumers as one of the world’s leading Cabernet Sauvignons, while also highlighting the potential of its terroir in the prestigious Puente Alto Appellation within the Maipo Valley.
