As part of the 2026 edition of the prestigious Descorchados Wine Guide Fair in Brazil, organized by renowned Chilean wine critic Patricio Tapia, Viña Don Melchor was part of an exclusive masterclass featuring the first wine from its new “The Parcel” limited edition series, DM/01 vintage 2022.

The latest edition of Descorchados Brazil 2026, held in early April in the city of São Paulo, brought together 100 leading South American wineries and attracted wine enthusiasts to taste a wide range of labels.

The event included an exclusive masterclass led by influential Chilean wine critic Patricio Tapia, where DM/01 vintage 2022 was presented as the first release of the prestigious “The Parcel” limited-edition collections from Viña Don Melchor’s portfolio, recognized as “Revelation Wine” in the 2026 edition Descorchados Guide.

This occasion became a unique opportunity to showcase this exceptional wine in depth to the Brazilian market, positioning DM/01 vintage 2022 as an attractive and innovative winemaking proposal, distinguished by its quality and the distinctive character of Don Melchor’s Vineyard, Parcel #01, located in the outstanding Puente Alto Appellation.

This edition, which brought together key players from the South American wine industry, helped strengthen ties with Brazilian consumers and reaffirm the excellence, consistency, and positioning of Viña Don Melchor as one of the leading references of high-end Chilean wine at a regional level.
