The Swedish magazine Vinliv has released its list of the Top 10 wines of 2025, in which Chile’s iconic Cabernet Sauvignon, Don Melchor, leads the ranking.

The prestigious Swedish publication specializing in wines and beverages evaluated hundreds of labels throughout the year from different regions around the world. While many proved to be exceptional, Vinliv highlights that the global wine industry has now reached a higher standard than ever before. 

In this context, the magazine presents the ten most iconic labels of 2025, with Don Melchor standing out as the only Chilean wine included in this select list. 

Within the ranking, Don Melchor 2023 Vintage earned the top position and was described by the magazine as a wine that is “grand from the very best of Chile, offering a world-class wine. Highly talked about, iconic, and of great symbolic value for Chile as a wine-producing nation.” 

This new recognition reaffirms Don Melchor’s leadership as No. 1, once again demonstrating its enological consistency and enormous potential. It is a great Cabernet Sauvignon that reflects in every glass the purest essence of its exceptional Andean origin, from the Puente Alto vineyard, at the foothills of the Andes Mountains.
